The primary purpose of the Bethany’s women’s ministry group, WMU (Women's Missionary Union), is to support missions in our church and community through learning, engaging together, and praying for mission work. We meet at church on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM to discuss and plan service projects. These projects provide opportunities to spread the gospel, witness God's grace, and develop a more authentic faith through a mission lifestyle. 

 

Some Bethany WMU projects include:

• Providing backpacks and school supplies for local high school students

• Delivering baskets for shut-ins at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter

• Supporting our local crisis center for women

• Christmas caroling at local nursing homes

• Organizing and providing quarterly free community meals
